Bali is a province of Indonesia. The province includes the island of Bali and a few smaller neighboring islands, notably Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan. Bali island is commonly referred to as the Island of Thousands Temples, The Island of Gods.
The capital of Bali is Denpasar, located in the south of the isalnd, the island of Bali is renowned as a world tourism destination with unique art and culture. Bali island is the best place for a holiday with the world class accommodation.
Bali was inhabited by around 2000 BC by Austronesian peoples who migrated originally from Taiwan though Maritime southeast Asia. Culturally and linguistically, the Balinese are thus closely related to the peoples of the Indonesian, Malaysia, the Philippines , and Oceania.
Bali's white beaches are the places that you can enjoy various water sports such as swimming, banana boats, parasailing or jet skiing or plain sunbathing. There are several beaches in Bali but the most famous one is Kuta. Along the Kuta beach, there are an array of hotels, restaurants, shops and cafes.
You can find a mountain area Ubud located in north of Bali. Ubud, a town in central Bali of around 30,000 people, is far removed from the nightlife in Kuta, and is regarded as the cultural center of Bali. It is famous as an arts and crafts hub, and much of the town and nearby villages seems to consist of artists' workshops and galleries. There are some remarkable thanks to the spirit, surroundings, and climate of the place.
Mountain climbers may want to climb up Gunung Agung. Being your ascent from behind the temple or though the village of Sebudi. However, make sure to ask permission first from the temple authorities, as Balinese religion prescribes that no one may stand higher than the sacred temple especially when ceremonies are being held.
