Hotel and Resort Spa can be found at hotels or resorts. Most of them are located at major tourist destinations and their staff are well-trained. Types of Thai massage
1. Oil Massage :
Body massage using oils extracted from nature such as coconut oil, grape seed oil, olive oil, almond oil and sesame oil. Some can be used alone or in combination. There is a host of benefits of oil massage such as facilitating better sleep, improving the complexion of skin, nourishing tissues, keeping the joints flexible, improving circulation, relieving fatigue and improve stamina, calming the nerves as well as helping effective elimination of toxins.

2. Thai Massage :
A type of massage involving stretching and deep massage. It is normally performed on the floor. No oil is used in the massage. The practitioners perform using some moves of yoga. 6. Sport Massage :

Massage :
Massage can be performed on different parts of the body such as face, body, hand and feet. Different types of massage vary by each spa. Some are specialised in some types of massage. Some only offer basic ones.

Body Wrap :
Hot linens, plastic sheets, mud wrap, algae, seaweed or clay are often used to wrapped around the body. Each type of product provide different benefits such as detox, softening, moisterising or hydrating.

Scrub :
Scrub is used to exfoliate the skin. Most of body scrubs contain exfoliant, oil and fragrance. Some have skin-nourishing ingredients and chemical exfoliants such as alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).

Waxing :
Waxing is a treatment of removing hair by hot wax. this method is semi-permanent. New hair will not grow in the waxed areas for 2 to 8 weeks. It can be done on the different parts of the body such as eyebrows, face, bikini area, chest, back, legs and arms.

Manicure and Pedicure :
Nail treatment for hands and feet. The treatments are various such as aromatic salt rub, hot towel wrap, hydrating mask, hot stone massage or paraffin dip.

Bathing :
Bathing treatment is the immersion of the body in fluid such as water, chocolate, mud, hot spring, hot tub and the popular milk bath.

Aromatherapy :
With the use of essential oil which is extracted from scented herbs such as lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus, aromatherapy's normal modes of application include aerial diffusion, direct inhalation and topical applications in massage, baths or compresses. Materials used in this treatments include essential oils, absolutes, infusions, carrier oils, vaporisers, herbal distillates and phytoncides.

Personal Training :
Some spas also offer personal training for those who are interested in practicing exercise for total health or specific part of the body.

Body Detox :
Detox is to remove toxins from the body through herbal, electrical or electromagnetic treatments.
